Data Security and Protection
We guarantee that every online transaction you make will
be 100% safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to
your card as a result of shopping at our online store. Under the Fair Credit
Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of
fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00,
we will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00. We will only
cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted
through no fault of your own from purchases made while using the secure server.
In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your
credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. We
also make every effort to ensure that your purchase experience at Closeout
Island is secure. We use state-of-the-art data encryption technology to protect
against loss, misuse or alteration of your user information. Secure Socket
Layers (SSL) encrypts the information sent between your computer and our
database. In addition, we use Internet fraud screening to protect credit card
transactions.
To be sure you're browsing secure pages, check your Web
browser's status bar (located at the bottom of the window) for the closed
padlock icon. This icon appears in the latest versions of Internet Explorer and
Netscape Navigator to tell you that you are viewing a secure web page. Also,
all browsers display an "s" after the "http" (https:// <https:///> ? in the Web site address to indicate that
you're in a secure environment.
We also protect your purchase by preventing the shipment
of merchandise to a fraudulent address. All billing addresses are verified
electronically and all alternate shipping addresses are verified manually. Any
customer shipping to an address that differs from the billing address must put
th is alternate address on file with his or her credit card company. We then
call the credit card issuer to verify that the customer has indeed put the

Confirmation, Pricing and Availability:
We make every effort to get your order to you as soon as
possible. In-stock items are generally shipped within 24 to 48 hours after
confirmation. If there is a problem with your order you will receive an email
stating more details. Items shipped by UPS Ground may take longer, depending on
your location. Special and Custom orders may also take longer to process. Ask
our Customer Service Representatives for shipping details when you place your
order.
Information Collected
When you shop on our site, we collect personal
information from you such as your name, e-mail address, billing address,
shipping address, telephone number, product selections, credit card or other
payment information. We may also collect, or our third party ad server and
content server will collect the URL you came from, IP address, domain types
(e.g. .com or .org, etc.), your browser type, the country, state and telephone
area code where your server is located, the pages of our site that were viewed
during a visit. The email address you provide for order processing, will only
be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order. For your
safety and protection, your credit card information is not stored on our servers.
Our payment gateway provider, (Authorize.net), keeps this information encrypted
and secure on your behalf.
How Information is Used
We do not sell or rent your personal information to
others. We use customer information we collect only for the purposes of filling
orders, contacting purchasers to inform them of their order status, sending
promotional information, enhancing the operation of our site, for statistical
purposes and to administer our systems. We may use third parties to help us
fulfill orders, to help process payments, to provide customer service, to serve
site content, to help administer promotional emails, and to administer
warranties purchased. We give them access to the information needed to complete
their job. Sometimes that includes a portion of your personal information. Our
computer systems protect personal information using an advanced firewall server

We use cookies to help identify you when you visit our
store and to customize your experience. The cookie contains a randomly assigned
user identification number, the country where you are located, and we may track

Return Policy
You may return merchandise purchased from us within 7 days upon delivery for a refund or replacement. Please be advised, any merchandise being returned, the customer must sign a “return agreement form” prior to receiving the RMA. All returns are subject to a minimum of a 15% restocking fee. Some orders will require a higher restocking fee depending on the quality on the merchandise being returned.
Removal or alteration of a product's upc number, serial
number or upc/serial number sticker will automatically void your Closeoutisland
Return Policy. Products that are returned to Closeoutisland with a missing,
damaged or altered serial number will be refused RMA service and returned to
you.

Refunds:
A processing fee of 15% percent will apply to the value
of all merchandise returned for a refund. If you are returning a product with
the intention of purchasing different merchandise, the processing fee will
still apply. This fee applies to open and unopened boxes. We will only refund
the value of the merchandise returned, not the shipping charge.
Exchange:
If you purchased a product from Closeoutisland.com that you wish to exchange
for an alternative, you can return the item for a refund and simply place a new
order for the item you desire. We do not apply a refund credit to your new
purchase.
Lost:
If a shipment is lost it is the customers duty to file a
claim with the shipping company and handle it with the the shipping company we
are not at fault for lost stolen or damaged goods it is up to you as the
customer to ensure your packege or packages are insured by the shipper.
Defective items:
An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt
can be replaced with the same model only. You may also return a defective item
for a refund, however a 10 percent processing fee will apply. The processing
fee will only be applied if you choose to return the item for a refund. We will
certainly replace an item that was defective prior to receipt, without a
restocking fee.
Damaged items:
All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship
from our warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact
us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 10
calendar days after the date of receipt. We do not issue refunds for returns of
damaged merchandise. An item that was discovered damaged upon receipt will be
replaced with the same model only.
Return shipping:
Return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to
our store) is like or comparable to your cost of driving to any store for
returning an item, which is not reimbursable. Therefore, we do not reimburse
any return shipping cost.
If an item you received is defective, we will certainly
replace the item with a new one, however we do not cover or reimburse the
shipping cost for returning defective merchandise back to our store. We will
ship the replacement product to you at our cost, and use every good measure to
ensure that the replacement order is processed quickly.
Replacement:
We will send a product replacement after the authorized
return has completed our receiving/inspection process. The replacement will
ship within four business days following our receipt of your return. Please
allow additional processing time after Holidays. Although it is our goal to
ship a replacement as quickly as possible, we do not send replacements before
we receive and inspect the returned merchandise. To receive a replacement more
quickly, you may place a new order for the same item (shipping not included),
and we will issue a refund for the full value of the returned product
(including shipping), upon completion of our return process.
How to Return Merchandise:
Please contact us at 1-800-922 ISLAND. If you do not have
the return form, we will provide it together with your RA number. Please fill
in the requested information on our product return form, and carefully follow
the instructions for return.
All returned merchandise must be in original condition,
and must include the original factory box (UPC bar codes and serial numbers
must be intact) and factory packaging (e.g. foam, plastic, wrappings, etc.),
peripherals (e.g. battery, charger, cords, straps, etc.), included warranty
cards (without markings), and all instruction booklets and paperwork. The RA
number or any other inscriptions must not be written or printed on the product
box or packaging. We will not process the return if any of these conditions are
not followed.

Returned merchandise that is lost or damaged during
transit is solely the shipper's responsibility. It is important save the
tracking information and to properly insure all merchandise being returned to
Closeoutisland.com.

televisions come with a full Manufacturers Warranty. All TVs over 26"
include in-home service. If defective, they will be serviced (repaired or

All sales on
extended warranties are final. They are not returnable, and none refundable
Package Deal Orders/Discounted Bundle Packages
All Packages with any discounted items or packaged deals
must be returned in the complete order it was received in its entirety, and are
subject to a minimum of 15% restocking fee Plus Processing Fees. Please
understand these orders are often sold as a kit/package and we can not resell
those items separately. We will therefore not accept partial order returns,
regardless of the reason for return,
Cancellation:
We do not accept any cancellation thru fax or email. all
cancellation must be don't over the phone and must receive a cancellation
number.
Orders in processing may be canceled but are subject to
cancellation fees.
Orders that have already been shipped may not be
canceled. you must accept the package and call customer service to receive a ra
number to return the product.
